Our client is a global freight forwarding and Logistics company specialising in air freight, sea freight, road freight and contract logistics.
We are now recruiting for a Sea Freight Imports Coordinator based in Wythenshawe
Key responsibilities
Coordinate and manage ocean import shipments
Liaise with customers, suppliers, and carriers to arrange shipping schedules, negotiate rates, and handle all necessary documentation.
Prepare and process shipping and customs documentation.
Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and trade compliance policies.
Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers and stakeholders on the status of their cargo.
Manage multiple shipments simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Experience needed
Experience of working within Ocean freight forwarding imports
Knowledge of import procedures
Customs regulations including national and international shipping documentation.
CDS, Cargo wise and ASM Sequoia experience
You will have the ability to effectively build excellent working relationships and show the ability to interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
Salary and Benefits
Salary £28,000 to £34,000 depending on experience
